PHOTOGRAPHY

Although I studied Graphic Design, my original intention entering Art College was to do a photography degree. I have loved photography since a young age and have always loved exploring my environment and the world through a lens. In my early twenties began to find work on a freelance basis in photography and used this as an opportunity to extend my relationship with different photography environments. Most of my freelance work has been for hair competitions, branding shoots and promotional photography for artists, as well as some social event work. I have included a few series below, mostly focusing on my exploration of environment through travel and at home.

Built Memories

The derelict buildings of Limerick City are beautiful remnants of the past. Until they are changed, they exist only as a mark of the what was. This work captures these structures with a mixture of film and digital photography, illustrating the beauty of these memories woven into this

ever-modernizing city.

Travel Series: AFRICA

An exploration of the East African country of Tanzania. This series capture my journey through safari and onto the Island of Zanzibar where I had a chance to travel to Stone Town, a visually rich cultural hub with a mixture of Arab, Persian, Indian and European elements.

HAIR COMPETIONS

The hair competitions for brands such as Wella and Peter Mark are an opportunity for creatives in the industry to explore their craft without the reigns of a client. These competitions embrace the avant-garde and elevate the profession. For years I worked with these professionals, curating photoshoots and producing photographs for these amazing creative events.

Travel Series: AMERICA

This series explores my trip across America. Having grown up in the US I had little experience outside my own area in the north-east. This two month trip was a journey across America's South, from New Mexico's National parks through Lousiana's Bayous, all the way to Florida's beaches.
