Differenciated learning has thankfully become a more highlighted subject in terms of teacher education. Now more than ever these practices are being recognised as the first stop on the journey to student learning, rather than an afterthought. Students must begin the process of learning equipped with the tools they need to do so. Below you can see an SEN differenciation case study that exhibits how to best approach students with learning support needs. In addition to approaches such as this one, it is important that I continue to include differenciation strategies for individual student’s needs ( this can be seen on sample lesson plans in the teaching section). SEN needs are now being further supported through digital media which I am fortunately well versed in. These digital approaches can support curriculum content, teaching and learning, presentation, and networking.
